Norma Narus Obituary
Charlton - Norma (Andersen) Narus, 67, passed away on Thursday October 15, 2015 at Saint Vincent Hospital after a brief illness.
Her husband, Bernard J. Narus died in 1996.
She leaves her children; Heather S. (King) Stewart and her husband Daniel of Auburn, Christopher Ryan King and his wife Dahn (Thompson) King of Charlton, and Luke Andersen Narus of Chicago, IL., 4 grandchildren; Cori Anne Thompson, Kayla King, Ryan King, and Paige Stewart.
Sisters and brother; Kathleen Cowles of Tolland, MA., Rolf Andersen of Canton, MA., Christina Andersen of Morris, CT., several nieces and nephews and several grand nieces and nephews.
Norma was born in Winchester, MA. a daughter of Martin and Ruth F. (Fellows) Andersen and has lived in Charlton for many years. She graduated from Gilbert High School in Winsted, CT., and earned her Associated Degree from Northwestern Connecticut Community College.
She worked as secretary of operations for Mass. Electric, now National Grid in Worcester for many years and retired in April 2004.
Norma was a member of the Prindle Pond Association, and a volunteer with the Boy Scouts of America. She enjoyed making collages, scrap booking, cooking, baking, vintage hats, a few days at Cape Cod, but most of all, her family was most important to her.
Norma's Funeral Service will be Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at 11AM in the ROBERT J. MILLER-Charlton Funeral Home, 175 Old Worcester Rd., Charlton, burial will follow in West Ridge Cemetery.
Calling Hours will be Tuesday, October 20, 2015 from 4PM to 7PM in the Funeral Home.

Momma Norma you will be missed so much in my heart. I always enjoy the moments we had when we had our family gatherings. Have tell 4th July won't be the same with out you. My thoughts are with you all . Meeting you(Heather) and your family when I was a teenager at Bourne scenic Park while you were all on one of your summer vacations and me being a townie was an important time in my life as a youth. I met your mom a handful of times and although I did not know her well, It's my belief that she was an amazing mom to have raised such a great and decent person such as yourself. My thoughts and heart are with you all on this day.
