Pamela Magner-DePaoli Obituary
SPENCER - Pamela (Poirier) Magner-DePaoli, 67, passed away on May 10, 2014 at St. Vincent Hospital due to complications from lung cancer.
Pam was born November 19, 1946 in Worcester, the daughter of the late Charles Poirier and Eileen (Olds) Poirier.
She leaves her beloved husband of 27 years Joseph Depaoli of Spencer, a son David Magner Jr. and his wife Brenda of Denver, Colo., a daughter Michelle Woodward and her husband Thomas of North Brookfield; three grandchildren, Joshua Magner of Colo., and Amanda and Kylie Woodward of North Brookfield. She was predeceased by her first husband David Magner.
Pam also leaves three stepchildren Lisa Normandin, Lori Cladis, and Joey DePaoli, and their children, Patrick and Kelly Normandin, Tyler and Zack Keenan and Ava and Joey DePaoli; two sisters, Patricia Depatie and her husband Francis of Oxford, and Charleen Poirier of Worcester; three brothers, James, Michael and his wife Cheryle, both of Worcester, and Robert Poirier of Key West, Fla., many nieces and nephews, and two beloved dogs, Bridget and Bubba.
Pam was predeceased by six brothers, Paul, Chuck, Kenneth, Daniel, Richard and Charles, and two sisters, Deborah Saliba and Susan Sarsfield.
Pam attended Girls Trade School. She enjoyed quilting and crafting. She loved traveling, going to the beach and spending time with her granddaughters. She enjoyed
her many years living on Sugden Lake in Spencer. Her daughter said that her mother was an avid QVC shopper and kept the Post Office, Fedex and UPS busy and is sorry for any upcoming job losses.
Many thanks to the nursing staff at St. Vincent Hospital. Her family would also like to thank Dr. Deborah Ford for her support and compassion to Pam over the years, as well as Dr. Alwyn Repose and Dr. Tony Samaha.
Pam was a member of St. Mary's Church in Spencer.
Funeral services and burial will be private.
Donations may be made in Pam's memory to Second Chance Animal Shelter, III Young Rd. P.O. Box 136, East Brookfield, MA 01515.
The Athy Memorial Home, Worcester, is directing arrangements.

to my dear sister in law may your soul be in heaven with the rest of your family i will never forget the times we had at your house bobby and i trying to sky never got off the dock lol and your dad had a smile from ear to ear just being there with all his kids and grandkids memories forever no more pain rest now as we wait to see you someday love tisa poirier and sons bobby and jarred poirier
