Patrick Moquin Obituary
Shrewsbury - Patrick J. Moquin, 83, of Shrewsbury, passed away on July 22nd at the Holden Nursing Center after a long illness. Patrick was born in Grand M'ere, Quebec, Canada and came to live in Worcester at the age of 8. He was the son of Stanislas Moquin of Wisconsin and Blandine Boisvert of Quebec.
Patrick was predeceased by his wife, Dorothy Ruth Brooks, in 1999. He leaves his 5 sons, Robert, Brian, Gary, Bruce & Stephen, his grandchildren and great grandchildren and also his long-time companion, Lillian Abruzzise of Shrewsbury, with whom he made his home for the last 16 years.
Patrick graduated from high school in Detroit, Michigan and went on to study in Quebec and received a bachelor's degree in Law. He later continued his studies in California in the criminology field.
Patrick served his country for 15 years, first in the Navy intelligence division and later as a sergeant with the military police. He went on to own and operate his private security firm, Security and Protective Service, Inc., in Worcester for many years. He later worked for New England Grocers Supply Company for 33 years in the maintenance and welding department until his retirement. Patrick was a past member of the Singletary Rod & Gun Club in Sutton and enjoyed all sports, especially football & baseball, as well as dancing. Private services will be held in Pine Grove Cemetery in Westborough. Hays Funeral Home of Northborough is directing arrangements. For online condolences, please visit

Well Pat was quit a welder he could weld anything together. I know Pat for over 23 years and he worked for me at Sweet Life for when I took over the maintenance dept there.
I am sure that Pat will be in a better place now, Trying to weld the Gates closed so no bad people can get in.
