Pauline Goelitz Obituary

Pauline Johnson Goelitz, 88, a retired entertainment agent, passed away Sunday, March 27, 2005, in Fort Worth.

Funeral: 3:30 p.m. Wednesday in Greenwood Chapel. Entombment: Greenwood Mausoleum. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Greenwood Funeral Home.

Memorials: Camp Fire USA First Texas Council, 2700 Meacham Blvd., Fort Worth 76137.

Pauline Johnson Goelitz was born June 9, 1916, in Grandview.

She was founder of Metro Dance Club and Metroplex Orchestra Agency.

She was a Camp Fire leader and a Sunday school teacher at Arlington Heights United Methodist Church. Pauline was a member of the Elks Club.

Pauline was preceded in death by daughter, Patricia Ann Pyka; and husband, Herman Goelitz.

Survivors: Son, Gary Vance Johnson and wife, Diane; grandchildren, Brian Johnson, Jeoffrey Johnson, Jimmy Pyka, Joe Pyka, Shelly Breakey and Marla Pyka; 10 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and best friends, Upton and Dorothy Lybarger.
