Pauline Isabelle Obituary
Uxbridge - Pauline (Rutana) Isabelle, 81, passed away on Wed. June 13, 2018 at St. Camillus Health Center in Northbridge after a brief illness, surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her husband of nearly 60 years, Richard R. Isabelle.
She is also survived by a son Stephen W. Isabelle and his wife Maria of Holden; a daughter Susan M. Isabelle of Worcester; 3 grandchildren, Stephen Jr., Jonathan, and Jenna Isabelle; her beloved pets, Walker, "the red collar", and "the blue collar"; as well as nieces and nephews. Born in Northbridge on Jan. 23, 1937 she was the daughter of Stanley and Geneva (Matusek) Rutana.
Pauline was a graduate of Northbridge High school class of 1954, and continued her education graduating from the College of Our Lady of the Elms in Chicopee in 1958. She worked as a teacher for the Oxford school system and also for Balmer School in Northbridge. She also worked in banking for the former Safety Fund National Bank in Worcester, later named TD Bank, for many years up until her retirement in 2005. Mrs. Isabelle was an avid reader, and people person who loved the company of her family, friends, and her pets, whom she treated as her children. She was a longtime member of St. Mary's Church.
Her funeral will be held on Mon. June 18 in St. Mary's Church, 77 Mendon St., Uxbridge at 10 am, burial will follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Whitinsville.
