Cindy,
I am so sorry for the loss of Peter. I loved him very much, even though we butted heads on a few issues (and you know what I mean). It is such a horrible thing to loose someone you love. Erins dad past away last year and even though we were not together it has really taken it's toll on me. I know how much you loved him. I'm sure Gramp, Gram, my dad and Aunt Maryann, welcomed him with open arms. I am so sorry I will not be there. I will keep you in my prayers.

Love,
Becky & Erin

Peter Jr. & Justin,
I am so sorry for the loss of your dad. I loved him very much and so did Grampa Tony. My daughter Erin lost her dad last year, and I also lost mine, as you both know, when I was a child. It is a very difficult thing to go through when you are young. I will keep you both in my prayers.

Love,
Becky & Erin

Craig, Zig, and Tony,
I know Peter is with the Lord, Gramp, my dad and your mom. Time goes so fast and we have all had our fair share of tragedy in our lives. I had a great visit with Pete the last time I saw him, and I will cherish that always. I do love you guys, and I wish I could be there for all of you. I will keep each of you in my prayers always.
Love,
Becky & Erin

Craig, Zig and Tony,

Dear God in Heaven above
Today is the day that You took someone we love
We know that we need not worry
Because Your there with him with open arms

Dear God in Heaven above
The man that stands before You was deeply loved
Although it seems like it is the end
Now the memories of him shall begin

Dear God in Heaven above
We are here today with sorrow and grief
But when we look up toward Heaven there will be a sense of relief
Because the man before You is in a better place

Today is not a day of death, but rebirth
Because he lived a long and healthy life here on earth
So on this day we will look back no more
Because on this day we know he's with You, Jesus Christ our Lord

The young man that has left us he will truly be missed
For all that knew him we know that we were blessed

Dear God in Heaven above
The young man that I refer to was a husband, father, brother, grandfather and cousin
For when our time comes we know that we will see him again

Dear God in Heaven above
We pray that You will guide us to see this through
Hold us and keep us safe in all that we do

Tribute To my cousin Pete(Giddy Up)
Bo will always love you

GAIL PHONECENTER HOMEDEPOT

March 9, 2009

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

My deepest sympathy to Peter's family. I remember Peter as a teenager and young adult. He was such a kind hearted person. Always cheerful. I know it sounds silly now but I always looked at him as a big Teddy Bear. May he rest in peace.
