Richard Bloise Sr. joined his son Richard Bloise Jr. in heaven on August 28,2011. Father and son may you rest in peace until the rest of us here can see you again someday.
Jeff and me are inconsolable, but we have to hang on to the memories of two of the most wonderful men that ever lived. You both made us laugh, cry, but most of all you made us love you... because both your hearts were so full of love always.. We miss you Daddy and Ricky... forever..

To Ricko's Family, I am so sorry for your loss. I will never forget Ricko! I admired his love for family and his passion for music and performing. But most of all, he had such a kind, sweet and generous heart, he will surely be missed.

How is it possible that you've been gone for 10 days already? I can't breath Rick, I can't sleep, my heart is ripping out of my chest from the pain of losing you.. You promised you'd never leave me, I know it wasn't something you wanted but sissy can't live without you. Please God let this be a bad dream and let me wake up and be able to call you and see you again..

A lot of people knew Rick Bloise as Rick Blaze, a rock star. To me, he was Cousin Ricky. Ricky always had his heart and his politics in the right place. He always found time to keep in touch with his family and he always went to family events and had a good time with us. I never knew how big a rock star he was until I read about him after he died. Ricky was a courageous person. He had the courage to follow his dreams and stay the course. Most of us put our dreams on hold or pursue them part time at the most. Not Ricky. He loved music, he believed in it and did it full time. Even when it did not go as he hoped, he never gave up, not even when he was ill. And in the end, whether he realized it or not, he was a star. Ricky, we will miss your politics and your big heart. You were always a star to us.

Ricky was like a big brother to me and I have so many awesome memories. I loved his blue mustang, and will always remember throwing snow balls at all our friends in the middle of summer. We got the snow from the ice arena. He was always there if we needed him. Jeff, Jackie, Val, and Deb my heart is breaking for all of you and you are all in my thoughts and prayers. God bless

Rick, Man, I gave you a lot of crap at times but you had a dream and never gave up on it and accomplished more in pursuit of that dream than many people do. I respect that. I never told you at the time but you did good. We played some crazy shows, had ridiculous adventures, bickered like some band mates do ... good and bad, I have the memories and the stories and don't regret them. We had some great moments and some amazing opportunities. I only regret not letting you know these simple truths before it was too late to tell you to your face. RIP

Eulogy to my Beloved Brother Rickey

I was an only child till seven
when God sent you to me from heaven
oh baby boy with the sweetest face
how you suffered with you legs in braces

And then about when you were three
You run around and follow me
my little shadow when I would play
You called me Wal cause you could say a V

We'd dance to the Beatles and Rolling Stones
Oh how you loved that rock and roll
Beautiful child with a heart of gold
Little brother who should have grown old

Singer and writer, son and brother
Husband and friend, like no other
Our blazing comet, our shooting star
Loved by so many near and far

The cruelest fate has struck it's blow
taken our hearts and laid them low
Gone from us now, you've found your peace
Leaving us with this unbearable grief
Look down on us now from heaven above
And shower us with your boundless love.

Sleep well my Little Rickey......my heart.
