Dear Joan family, I am saddened to hear of Dick's passing. He was a wonderful co-worker, and an even better fishing buddy. My best memories of Dick will always be the years we spent fishing Lake Memphremagog shortly after his retirement. He was a great guy to have in camp as everyone loved his company and admired his fishing skills. He will be deeply missed by all. The fish are safe now.

Dick was my predecessor in my position at MassWildlife. I was told by H Heusmann when I first started Dick's old position that I had "some pretty big shoes to fill". I have been told many wonderful stories about Dick's time at DFW. He helped me as a mentor for the parahunt and I appreciate all his insight for me in my position. He will be fondly remembered.

Joan and family. Very sad to hear of Dick's passing. He was a great guy to work with at Field Headquarters. I can see him now, paddling the canoe with a string of goose bands around his neck. His goose decoys always brought in the birds. Jaye and I remember him fondly and wish you peace in this time of grief.

I have great memories of working with Dick years ago. I can still see him with his coffee cup sitting sideways at him desk. He always enjoyed a good laugh too. My blessings to you all in this time of grieving and remembering the good times with Dick!

Dick was a great man that always brought a smile to my face as he told his stories of fishing, hunting and life in general...he will be missed by all his former coworkers at the Division.

Dear Mrs. Burrell and family, I am thinking of you and praying for you at this difficult time. Although I only knew Mr. Burrell for a short time, I remember him to be such an interesting and affable man. May he rest in peace.
