Robert Brigham Obituary
South Dennis - Robert died August 18, 2017 peacefully after a brief battle with cancer. He was predeceased by his beloved Wife Isabell of 65 years. He is survived by his six children, Robert Jr and Deb Brigham, Richard and Elayne Brigham, Amy Brigham, Thomas and Susan Brigham, Gerard and Erin Brigham, and Lee and Martha Brigham. He is also survived by his 16 grand children, 10 great grand children, his sister Joan West-Hirsch and his brother James Brigham.
Robert was born in Sutton, Ma to John and Grace Brigham.
He was a World War II Army PFC Veteran.
He moved to Cape Cod in 1964, he was a teacher at Harwich High School, and developed Driver Ed classes on the Cape.
In his retirement he was a school bus driver, affectionately known as " Mr. Whiskers" .
A service will be held at Cape Cod Covenant Church, 11 Satucket Rd, Brewster, Ma at 12:00pm, October 7th. with a celebration of his and Isabell's life immediately following at the church's fellowship hall. All are welcome.
At Bob's request the attire is to be casual, please wear your " best plaid." In lieu of flowers He has asked that you do an act of kindness for someone in need.

I remember Mr. Brigham as being a most patient drivers ed teacher I learned a lot from him about driving properly

My thoughts and prayers have been with all of you. Uncle Bob was bigger than life with a smile and heart to match. He so loved and was proud of his family! I'm sure he's with his beloved Belle.

I am so saddened to hear of the passing of Mr Brigham. He was my Teacher and he was a wonderful man. My condolences to his Family. Now is is with Mrs Brigham again. May he rest in peace.
