Robert Donisvitch Obituary

Robert A. Donisvitch, 64, of 21 Nelson St., died Tuesday, October 16, 2007 in his home, after an illness.

He leaves two brothers, John Donisvitch of Clinton, and Raymond Donisvitch of Worcester; several nieces and nephews, including Cindy Ciesluk, Merissa Whitney, and Kenneth Fox, and his brother-in-law Irwin Fox, with whom he lived for many years; grandnieces and grandnephews. He was predeceased by four siblings: Claire Fox, Pauline Finn, Stanley Donisvitch, and Alfred Donisvitch.

Robert was born in Clinton, son of Vincent and Theodora (Lavigne) Donisvitch, and was a lifelong resident. He attended Clinton schools. He worked at Empire Furniture of Clinton, and later at Harvard Engineering of Lancaster for many years prior to his retirement. He was a member of St. John the Evangelist Church, and was a collector of coins and antiques.

Robert's funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 20, 2007 in St. John the Evangelist Church, 80 Union St. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery, Lancaster. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the American Cancer Society, Central New England Region, 350 Plantation St., Worcester, MA 01604. McNally & Watson Funeral Home, 304 Church St., is directing arrangements.
