Robert Jubinville Obituary

Robert J. Jubinville, 75, of 503 Mill St., died Saturday, December 27, 2008 in the Rose Monahan Hospice Residence, 10 Judith Rd.

He leaves a brother, Arthur J. Jubinville, Jr., of Worcester; nephews and nieces, grand nephews, grand nieces, great grand nephews and great grand nieces. He was predeceased by a brother and three sisters, Walter J. Jubinville, Lillian M. Tilton, Flora B. Bruso and Ann D. Handy. He was born in Worcester, a son of Arthur J. and Eva L. (Ducharme) Jubinville and lived here all his life.

Mr. Jubinville was an administrative assistant 19 years for the Engineering Division of the City of Worcester Dept. of Public Works and retired in 1998. He was a graduate of Commerce High School and the New England School of Accounting.

Robert was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of St. Stephen's Church.

The funeral will be held on Tuesday, December 30 from DIRSA-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 298 Grafton St., with a Mass at 11:00 a.m. in St. Stephen Church, 357 Grafton St. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. A calling hour will be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, December 30 in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Stephen Restoration Fund, 16 Hamilton St., Worcester, Ma., 01604

Our deepest condolences to the family of Bob Jubinville from his friends at the Department of Public Works.
Bob was a wonderful man with a warm smile, quick wit, impeccably dressed and consummate professional. We were all deeply saddened to hear of his passing.
