Robert Kazanovicz Obituary
Worcester - Robert J. Kazanovicz, 57 of Worcester, passed away peacefully in his home, Thursday, May 17th 2018 after lifelong challenges which he met those challenges on a daily basis and overcame them with dignity and perseverance.
Robert was born in Worcester on February 2nd 1961, one of eight children of Adolph R. and Theresa M. (Miles) Kazanovicz. He graduated from Worcester Girls Trade with a focus in culinary arts and began a career as a chef, later transitioning as truck driver for Worcester Quality Foods. He has lived his entire life in the home he grew up in. He was an avid model enthusiast, particularly trains and a longtime member of the Worcester Model Railroaders. Robert also loved the Boston Bruins and enjoyed watching and attending games with his friends and family. He was passionate with his many hobbies and enjoyed life to the fullest.
Robert is survived by his three brothers, John Kazanovicz and his wife Lisa of Reading, Peter Kazanovicz and his wife Michelle of Francestown NH, Paul Kazanovicz and his wife Wendy of Woolwich, ME; a sister, Amy Ito and her husband Ko of Cleveland, TN; Many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends; two brothers, Stephen and Michael Kazanovicz and a sister, Jean Bonner all pre deceased him.
Friends and relatives are invited to attend calling hours, Tuesday, May 22nd from 10:00 am to 12 noon in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. followed by a celebration of life service at 12 noon. Burial next to his father will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton.

Kaz I remember your bubbly personality and you were always smiling. You help my brother Karly cook for my wedding reception. You guys had that kitchen Rocken. Karl would always say this is my friend Hubba Bubba then you guys would crack up laughing. Thank you Kaz for every thing. Miss U !

My deepest sympathy to family, l just found out about Robert's passing, would have liked to pay my respect to family, l am on the cape, l remember Robert from Rice Square and hanging around at the park, l moved away, and just sat with Robert at John Smith's party, so glad, we had made plans for this summer, just said a month ago Rob played drums better then me over the Lloyd's house, years ago, what l remember of Robert, he w

We are so very sorry to learn of Bobby's passing. He was such a kind and caring person. He met his challenges head on and with unstoppable grace. I'm sorry to hear about Robert's (KAZ) passing. I went to school with him at Fanning Trade, class of 1979. I'm sorry he never was able to come to a class reunion. Everyone always asked about him. Sorry to the Kazanovicz family. We all grow up over near Mulcahy's field and even though we all moved on we were still like family. Robert was a really good guy. My prayers go out to everyone.

My deepest sympathies to the Kazanoviicz family on Bobby's ( Sir Robert of Ashwood) passing. Another Mulcahey Park alumni gone too young. Bobby was a great guy and I always loved seeing him. Ashwood street won't be the same with out him. I don't think I ever heard anyone say a negative thing about Kaz. It was an honor to have known him and call him a friend. Love you man. The Captain.
