Robert Leclerc Obituary
Paxton - Robert A. Leclerc, 75, a longtime resident of Paxton, died on Wednesday, January 6th in UMass Memorial Medical Center – University Campus after being stricken ill.
Mr. Leclerc is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Donna L. (Stone) Leclerc; his two sons, Jay Leclerc and his wife, Barbara of Charlton, MA and Scott Leclerc and his wife, Tamara of Ashby, MA; a step daughter, Kerri Simmons of North Providence, RI; two brothers, Gerry Leclerc of New Salem, MA and Rev. Fr. Thomas Leclerc of Cambridge, MA; two sisters, Anita Bourque of Conway, SC and Pauline Coram-Leclerc of Valrico, FL; 5 grandchildren, Miranda, Moira, Emily, Nathan and Able and many nephews and nieces.
Bob was born in Fitchburg, MA son of the late Arthur and Yvonne (Hebert) Leclerc and graduated from Saint Bernard's High School. Mr. Leclerc continued his education at the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester.
Bob started his career at Forsberg & Carlson Television and Appliance Repair in Worcester and later purchased the business and grew it for many years. He was a true entrepreneur at heart and when he saw an opportunity or a need he never hesitated in taking a chance to start a business. He was the founder of Elite Enterprises, Champagne Tours, Holiday Casino, Elite World Travel, Heavens Above Satellite, Quick Bites Restaurant and Elite Kennels.
Bob was always larger than life. He always had a joke and a story for any occasion and was always the life of any gathering. He was a caring and loving man and would do anything for his family and friends. He will be missed by all.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday, January 10, 2021 from 5 to 7 PM in the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. Worcester. Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to the American Diabetes Association 260 Cochituate Road #200, Framingham, MA 01701.
Social distancing guidelines and face coverings in accordance with CDC guidelines will be in place for the calling hours.
