Ronald B. Paris

Ronald B. Paris, 82, of 105 Greenwich Court, and Ft. Myers Beach, Florida, died suddenly on Saturday, June 30, 2007.

His wife of 41 years, Elia T. (Ronnback) Paris, died in 1990. He leaves two daughters, April L. Paris of Rutland and Aimee J. Dertouzos of Westboro; a sister, Joan Polen of Denton, Texas; 3 grandchildren, Sean F. and Shane R. Regan, Alexander J. Dertouzos; a niece and 3 nephews. He also leaves his financee, Diane R. Harrison of Worcester. His brother, Roland Paris, predeceased him. He was born and raised in Worcester, son of Eugene and Josephine (Auger) Paris, and lived in Templeton from 1961-1990. He was a graduate of North High School and Worcester Polytechnic Institute where he was a member of the honor society and Sigma Alpha Epsilon.

Mr. Paris was an electrical engineer and has owned & operated Indiana Screw Machine Products in Worcester since 1948. He was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church and the Church of the Resurrection in Ft. Myers. He was active in the alumni association and was a member of the Alden Society both at WPI. He enjoyed raising and showing Morgan horses while living in Templeton. He was a Porsche enthusiast and over the years a member of a variety of sports car clubs.

Relatives and friends are invited to calling hours from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, July 5th, in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main St., Holden. The funeral for Mr. Paris will be held from the funeral home with a Mass at 10 a.m. on Friday, July 6th, in Blessed Sacrament Church, 555 Pleasant St., Worcester. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Templeton.
