Ronald L. Wheelock, 83
WESTBOROUGH - Ronald L. Wheelock, 83, of Westborough, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 5, 2013 at the Kindred Transitional Care and Rehab. He was the husband of the late Joan M. (Greenfield) Wheelock.
Born in Middleton, Nova Scotia, he was the son of the late Alma Wheelock and was educated in Middleton schools.
Ron was the owner of R & L Electric in Westborough and also owned Ron's Guns. He was a member of the Woodville Rod & Gun Club, enjoyed hunting, fishing and snowmobiling with his son.
He is survived by one son, Ronald M. Wheelock of Westborough; three daughters, Lynn V. St. Jean and her husband, Daniel, of Westborough, June M. Gagnon and her husband, Richard, of Athol and Connie L. Wheelock of Westborough; two grandsons, Richie and Mike Gagnon and two great grandchildren. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins in Canada.
Ron's family would like to extend a special thanks to his two good friends, Mike Graham and Jim Grenier.
His funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 9, at 10:00 A.M. in the Britton-Summers Funeral Home, 4 Church St., Westborough. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.
Calling hours at the funeral home are Monday, July 8, from 4 to 7 P.M.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Kindred Activities Fund, 5 Colonial Dr., Westborough, MA 01581 or to the MSPCA.
