Ruth D. Dumont

Ruth D. ( Soulor ) Dumont, 70, passed away August 10, 2008 after a battling cancer for many years. She leaves her husband of 30 years, Richard A. Dumont, one daughter, Beth A. Santana and her husband Angel of Northbridge, one step daughter, Melissa A. DeSalvo of Grafton, one sister, Joan Soulor of Grafton, one brother, Frank Soulor of Dudley, four grandchildren, Cierra, Tianna, Camden and Cole and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Dumont was born August 7, 1938 in Worcester the daughter of Henry and Lillian ( Swett) Soulor and has lived many years in Grafton. She was a graduate of David Hale Fanning High School in Worcester and became a cosmetologist working at Denholm & McKay and Jordan Marsh both in Worcester for many years. Ruth was a parishioner of St. James Roman Catholic Church in South Grafton and enjoyed sewing, quilting, gardening and cooking. She was also artistically gifted and particularly enjoyed drawing. A Prayer Service will be Wednesday August 13th at 11 am in The Roney Funeral Home North Chapel, 152 Worcester St., North Grafton. She will then be laid to rest in Pine Grove Cemetery on Waterville St. in North Grafton. The family will receive people Wednesday August 13th from 10 to 11 am in the funeral home before the prayer service.
