Sandra Jalbert Obituary
Charlton/Millbury - Sandra J. (Poulin) Jalbert, 68, died peacefully at home, surrounded by family and friends who were celebrating life with her for five days until she passed on Groundhog Day, Monday February 2, 2015.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Jack Jalbert; Two daughters, Kellie Dahlstrom and her husband Danny and Dr. Randie J. Willand and her husband Derek. She also leaves her three beloved grandchildren who knew her as "Mawz" Kayla, Jay and Ian; One brother in law Rob Jalbert; Three Sister in laws, Barbara, Joyce, Joanne and many nieces, nephews and several cousins. Sandie was born in Worcester June 24, 1946 the daughter of the late Maurice and Irene (Garriepy) Poulin, raised and lived many years in Millbury until moving to Charlton 12 years ago. Sandie's greatest joy was her family, particularly her grandchildren. She enjoyed traveling to The Cape, Vermont, Old Sturbridge Village, Misquamicut Beach RI and trips to casinos with friends. Sandie loved to play golf with Jack and Jay, go to the theater with Kayla and baking special things with Ian. The family wishes to thank the entire Jewish Health Care Hospice Team with special gratitude to Jill Cross. In lieu of flowers, donations honoring Sandie are suggested to Jewish Health Care Hospice, 629 Salisbury Street, Worcester MA 01609.
A Life Celebration Mass will be Saturday February 7th at 12 noon at St. Joseph Church, 10 H. Putnam Road Extension in Charlton. Sandie will be cremated in accordance with her wishes. Placement of her ashes will be private.. There are no calling hours. Funeral arrangements are in the care of The Roney Funeral Home in North Grafton.
