Priscilla J. Jalbert

Saco

Priscilla J. Jalbert, 83, of Saco, passed away on Monday, December 22, 2025, at the Enclave Senior Living Facility in Scarborough.

Priscilla was born in Biddeford, Maine on June 26, 1942, a daughter of Leo Paul and Claire (Beaudoin) Cote. She grew up in Saco, and graduated from Thornton Academy, class of 1960.

Priscilla was introduced by her cousin to the love of her life, Raynold Jalbert, at a bowling alley. They really enjoyed dancing as well. They married on September 7, 1963, at Notre Dame de Lourdes Church in Saco. The couple initially settled in an apartment in Biddeford, but within two years moved to Saco.

For the majority of her life Priscilla worked in payroll for Pratt & Whitney. She also served as President of the Pratt & Whitney Aircraft Club; a group that sponsors fund raising and charitable events in the area.

Priscilla was a faithful communicant and prominent member of Most Holy Trinity Church in Saco, and was part of a spiritual prayer group which had in roots at St. Andre's Church, and later at Most Holy Trinity. She had a heart for serving others, and volunteered for many local organizations including Catholic Youth Organization (CYO) / Catholic Youth Ministry (CYM). She worked for over 20 years with the Saco Meals Program. Priscilla was also part of the Class of 1960 Thornton Academy Reunion Committee. She was a Troop Supporter / Treasurer for The Boy Scouts.

Priscilla and Raynold had a passion for dancing, with Disco and the Jitterbug as their favorites. They would enjoy participating in dance competitions, and won quite a few local Jitterbug Competitions. They were fortunate to take a number of cruises over the years, spending time visiting many of the Caribbean Islands. Their most memorable was a cruise taken in 2008 to Hawaii.

Most of all, Priscilla loved the time she spent with her family. She loved her boys, her grandchildren, her nieces and nephews, her in-laws, and her friends. She will be remembered as an absolute Saint of a woman, taking her boys all over the state for sports, band, karate and CYO events. She would offer to help anyone she ever met that needed a smile or hug. She was a wonderful, caring mom, despite her poor cooking abilities - which she and her family always affectionately joked about. She loved tea and Tea Parties, most notable was at the Victorian Mansion in Portland, for her 70th birthday. She loved her little brother and loved shopping and spending time with her best friend and little sister.

Priscilla is predeceased by husband, Raynold Jalbert in 2021; by her granddaughter Marina Jalbert; by her niece Kayla Cote; and by her sister's partner, Gerald Guay.

She is survived by her two sons, Christopher Jalbert and wife Sophia Ngo, and Jayson Jalbert and partner Kristina Royer-Patterson; by her sister, Dianne Law; by her brother, Marc Cote and partner Tammy Andrews; by four grandchildren, Nico, Gia, Victoria and William; as well as by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 11:00AM – 1:00PM, with a Funeral Service beginning at 1:00pm on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at Cote Funeral Home Chapel, Saco. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Biddeford.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Priscilla honor to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
