Sandra Rembiszewski Obituary

Sandra K. (Oster) Rembiszewski, 66, died unexpectedly Tuesday, November 8, 2011 surrounded by her loving family in UMASS Memorial Medical Center, University Campus in Worcester.

Her husband, Paul J. Rembiszewski, died in 1996. She leaves a son, Thomas Rembiszewski and his wife, Jamie Ann; a daughter, Lynn M. Winston and her husband, Thomas all of Millbury; four grandchildren: Paige, Tommy Jr., Connor and Rose; two sisters: Phyllis Sauriol and her husband, Paul of Millbury and Joan Benoit and her husband, John of Paxton; two brothers: Robert Oster of Worcester and Kenneth Oster of NC; two brother in-law's: Philip Rembiszewski and his wife, Elaine of West Brookfield and Wolfgang Fahl of FL; her companion, Robert Dinsdale; many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents, Edward and Jeanette (Bousquet) Oster and a sister, Janet Fahl.

Sandra graduated from the former St. Peter's High School in Worcester. She worked for many years for Dr. Mary Hawthorne and the Millbury Federal Credit Union. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially with her beloved grandchildren. The family would like to thank the staff of the Neurological Unit of the ICU in UMASS Memorial Medical Center, University Campus for all their care and support.

Sandra's funeral will be held Saturday, Nov. 12th from Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St. in Millbury with a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Brigid Church, 59 Main St., in Millbury. Burial will be in Central Cemetery in Millbury. Calling hours are 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 11th in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Brigid Church, 59 Main St., Millbury, MA, 01527.

Sorry for your loss. We went to High School and worked at the Phone Company, together. It was an exciting time in our lives, going from students, to working girls, meeting Mr Right and marriages. I was sorry we lost touch but thought of Sandy whenever I was back in Massachusetts visiting relatives.

such sad news sandy and i went to St.Peters and graduated together from there and i can still remember her joking about and all the laughs and giggles...i even remember when we went to the telephone company to take the test for employment...she was such a hoot...and ill not forget her soon...till we meet again sandy for more laughs and giggles

to sandys family,i am sorry to see that your mom has has passed away,i can still remember her growing up on st johns road in worcester back in the 50s,the old gang then was gail bray/jackie stafinski al ackerman and myself we had alot of fun back then,i sure wish we could all go back then,but time moves on and i am sure we will meet again. god bless her.
