York, ME - Scott D. Burnett Sr., 51, of 39 New Town Rd., died Thursday, Dec. 19th 2013. He was born July 29, 1962 in Worcester, MA a son of the late William and Joyce (Hebden) Burnett Sr. He worked as a driver for Dunkin Donuts and for the United Parcel Service. He leaves his wife of 22 yrs, Jenine L. (Craig) Burnett; a son, Scott D. Burnett Jr. and a daughter, Apryl K. Burnett all of York, ME; three brothers, Todd Burnett of ME, William Burnett and his wife Catherine of MA, Michael Burnett and his wife Rebecca of SC; two sisters Gina Woods and her husband Robert of MA and Karen Buttry of Texas; a step-brother, Everett Ford of FL; and two step-sisters, Valerie Sandstrom and her husband Chuck of NY, and Ginny Pogoda and her husband Joe of NY. He is also predeceased by his step-mother, Katherine (Ford) Burnett.
Calling hours for Scott will be held from 5 to 8 pm on Friday, Dec. 27th in the Lucas & Eaton Funeral Home, 91 Long Sands Rd., York, Maine. A graveside service will be held in the spring in the First Parish Cemetery, York, ME. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to The Jimmy Fund http://www.jimmyfund.org/gif/.
