Susan Kneeland Obituary
WORCESTER - Susan Marie (Lamoureux) Kneeland, 67, passed away on Wednesday, November 30th at Lutheran Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center after a courageous battle with breast cancer. Her husband, Peter James Kneeland passed away in 2012. She leaves her daughter, Erica L. Rose Leicester; her son, Peter S. Kneeland of Worcester; her grandchildren, Jillian and Caitlin and their father Michael Rose; her brother, Gerald Lamoureux and his wife Betty of N. Smithfield, RI; nieces and nephews.
Susan was born in Woonsocket, RI the daughter of Paul and Rita (Bacon) Lamoureux. She graduated from St. Mary's High School in Milford and the University of Massachusetts-Amherst. She worked as a pediatric nurse at UMass Memorial Medical Center and as a nurse practitioner at several clinics before retiring. Susan enjoyed bingo, sewing, arts and crafts and watching the Home Shopping Network. The family would like to thank the nurses' and staff from Lutheran and Notre Dame Hospice, especially Moe, Helen, Peggy and Jill.
Susan's funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, December 17th at 10:00 am at Our Lady Queen of the Martyrs, 1409 Park Ave, Woonsocket, RI. There are no visiting hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Notre Dame Hospice, 555 Plantation Street, Worcester, MA 01605. Arrangements are in the care of CALLAHAN FAY & CASWELL FUNERAL HOME
