Bruce Kneeland Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by All County Funeral Home & Crematory - Treasure Coast Chapel on Dec. 1, 2025.
On November 18th, 2025 we lost Bruce Edward Kneeland unexpectedly. Bruce was, what we call, a snowbird and spent most of his time in CT but would fly down to Florida for the winter, chasing the sun. It was the thrill of riding his Harley that led him to his final ride and although we are extremely heart broken, it was not just a part of life he enjoyed, it was the way he lived his life.
Bruce was born in Willimantic, CT on August, 12th, 1958. He was predeceased by his biological mother Doris Tawney, his father Wayne Kneeland Sr, his step mother Lois Kneeland, and his brothers Doug Kneeland and George Kneeland. He leaves behind his brother Wayne Kneeland Jr, and sisters Darlene Stull (brother in law Jim Stull) and Cindy Merchant and a grand daughter he was incredibly proud of Chandra Delano. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and friends that he considered family.
Bruce graduated from Lyman Memorial High School in 1976 and spent years working in construction. His hobbies were deep sea fishing, riding his Harley and partying with his friends. He was also a proud 15 year survivor of Cancer.
He was tough in every sense of the word but loved hard. He could be heard from across the room shouting "Brotha!" Or "Hey honey!" He always welcomed his people with a hug and a quick witted joke.
The celebration of life will be held at the Willimantic Elks Club on December 13th, 2025 at 3 pm. It's open to the public. The family will have a private funeral at a later date.
- We will think of you every time we hear a Harley passing by, know you are with us on every ride and we will see you again on our final adventure-
