Tara E. Tormey, 43
REVERE - Tara E. Tormey 43, of Revere, Massachusetts, formerly of Leominster, passed away unexpectedly at Whidden Memorial Hospital in Chelsea, MA on January 25, 2013.
Tara was born in Brooklyn, New York on February 10, 1969. She attended Quinsigamond Community College, Worcester, MA and Mass Bay Community College, Wellesley, MA. She previously worked as a Director of Admissions for Katherine Gibbs School Boston, MA, Salter School, Malden, MA and the National Aviation Academy New Bedford, MA.
Tara enjoyed spending time and entertaining friends at her home on Revere Beach. She also loved taking long walks on the beach with her three beloved Chinese Crested Dogs.
Tara is survived by her long time companion James Lanzillo, of Revere, MA; her mother Lorna Tata Oinonen and her step-father John Oinonen of Bristol, RI. ; her father James "JT" Tormey of Leominster, MA.; her Grandpa, Anthony Tata of Leominster, MA; her aunt Janet Tata and her uncle John Tormey of Leominster, MA; aunt Kathy Saylor and her husband Danny Saylor of Longwood, Florida; and aunt Christine Grossman and her husband Ray Grossman of Templeton, MA, and several cousins.
Tara was predeceased by her grandmothers, Jennie Tormey, and Mary Tata of Leominster, her grandmother Elvie Oinonen of Gardner and her uncle Tatsy Tata of Leominster, MA.
A funeral service for Tara will be held on Friday February 8, 2013 at 11 AM in the Silas F. Richardson & Son Funeral Home 106 West St Leominster. Burial is private. A calling hour will be held from 10 AM - 11 AM on Friday February 8, 2013
In lieu of flowers the family of deceased ask that donations be made in memory of Tara Tormey to American Diabetes Association, 10 Speen Street Framingham, MA 01701, or to the Animal rescue League of Boston, 10 Chandler Street Boston, MA 02116.

Aunt Tara, words cannot express the loss we are all feeling in our hearts and souls. You were such a wonderful person and always willing to do anything for any of us. You are sadly missed and we will remember and love you forever. This world was certainly a happier and nicer place with you in it. My deepest condolences to my Uncle Jim and your parents and family.
