AUBURN - Thomas F. Harrahy, 80, formerly of Auburn and West Boylston, MA, died after long illness on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at the Lexington Healthcare Center in Richmond, VA.

Thomas' wife Doris (Michaud) Harrahy died in 2012. He leaves behind a daughter, Maureen Harrahy of Santa Cruz, CA, and a son, Thomas Harrahy, his wife Danica, and their children, Camden and Raegan, of Richmond, VA. Thomas' son Jeff Michaud predeceased him in 2013 as well as his brother John J. Harrahy in 2007.

Thomas was born in Worcester, MA, son of John P. and Mary A. (Kelley) Harrahy. He graduated from St. John's High School as well as Assumption College. Further, he earned his law degree from the New England School of Law. He maintained a small private practice for many years. He also worked as an assistant clerk magistrate in the Worcester District Court for over 20 years. As a young man, Thomas played and coached baseball. Throughout his life, he most enjoyed pursuing a variety of sports including racquet ball, handball, tennis, running, and biking.

There will be a calling hour Saturday, February 2, from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Athy Memorial Home, 111 Lancaster St., Worcester. The funeral Mass will follow at Noon at St. John's Church, 40 Temple St., Worcester. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Worcester.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to St. John's High School.
