Thomas Supple Obituary
CAPE CORAL, FL - Thomas A. Supple, 46, of Cape Coral, FL, formerly of Douglas and Uxbridge, MA, passed away peacefully on January 1, 2015. Tom struggled with the disease of alcoholism during his adult life, and while he found a period of sobriety in the last two years, the disease finally took its hold and didn't let go. He died as a direct result of the physical effects of the disease.
Tom leaves behind his wife of 21 years Pamela (DeYoung) Supple of Cape Coral, FL, his mother Nancy Supple of Uxbridge, MA, his brother, David Supple of Worcester, MA, his father-in-law and mother-in-law Glenn and Janet DeYoung of Uxbridge, and many, many other friends and family. He also leaves his dogs Trouble and Sundance and will be reunited with his best friend and beloved German Shepard, Riley, who passed in May.
Tom enjoyed golfing in FL and was able to play quite often due to the year-round warm weather. He continued to follow the Patriots and Red Sox as an avid, lifelong fan. Tom also fell in love with the beaches on Sanibel Island, FL and spent a lot of time enjoying their amazing beauty.
At Tom's request, there will be no memorial services and his remains will be cremated. Donations in Tom's memory can be made to Animal Care Trust Fund, c/o Lee County Domestic Animal Services, 5600 Banner Drive, Fort Myers, FL 33912 or to your local no-kill shelter.

To my dear cousin, I am so sorry for your pain and suffering, I have such fond memories of us growing up!! You were like a brother to me!! So many fun times at the cape and running around papa's & gramma's house, walking the railroad tracks, papa yelling at you telling you to "smartin up" getting in trouble constantly!! Tom, it's with a heavy heart that I have to say goodbye to you so soon. Although I only had the pleasure of knowing you for 3 years it seemed like a lifetime. Alcoholism is a confusing and unrelenting disease that I would wish upon no one. Pam, I know in my heart that Tom is finally at peace now and has found his serenity at long last but my heart is also broken with his passing. You & Tom were more than just friends & neighbors, you are like our kids. You stood by Tom and did all you could to help him but this terrible disease wouldn't let him go. Keep your fondest memories close, talk about them and always know your Love for one another was "special". I Loved watching the two of you enjoy one another and waited for the weekends to hear the music coming from your house.
