To the Yacino family,

I am so sorry to learn of Tim’s passing. I rarely make it back to Douglas any longer, and a moment like this makes me realize that I should visit more regularly. The Yacino household was essentially a second home to me in my youth and I was always treated like family. I was very quiet as a child, but you should know that I remember those days vividly and fondly. My deepest sympathies to you all.

TO the Yacino family,
so very very sorry for your loss. It was quite a surprise when a cowoker of Jay's (my sister) called to tell me an old friend had passed. We used to go roller skating every Sunday. SO much fun to be around and always kept me laughing. I know I havent seen him in a while, but the memories run deep. I hope and pray that God will take great care of him. We will keep you in our prayers. God Bless him for the smile he used to bring to everyone's face. It seems by all these entries, he truly was a wonderful man.

We had so much fun together in high school. Riding dirt bikes, flying model airplanes, shooting off M80's. One time Tim lit off a model rocket engine while I tried to hold it with pliers. It got away, landed in the shrubs and filled the front yard with smoke. My Mom came out and yelled at us because she thought the house was on fire. One year we worked at the mill on weekends cleaning looms. By the end of the week everything was covered with inches of wool dust. Cleaning this stuff had to be about the worst job imaginable but we made the best of it. Lying in wait until one of us was walking under a bank of fluorescents, the other would launch a blast from their air hose up towards the lights. This would unlease a snowstorm of wool dust down on the victim. By the end of the shift we would all be covered in wool! Tim was tough to beat on that go cart Jerry
describes. Riding down Schuster's driveway was terrifying because you had to leave enough time to stop before hitting Main Street. That minor issue never seemed to slow Tim down. Later Tim redid the bathroom at my Mom's camp after my father passed away. Showed me how to frame a wall and hang drywall. Never asked for any money even though building was what he did for a living. We would still cross paths about once a year. I saw him last summer with Amy at the Res. Had a boat they kept at Jerry's. It was classic Tim... fishing pole and a cooler, just happy to be enjoying the day. I will miss you Tim. God bless your soul. My condolences to Amy, T.J., Kayla, Felix, Betty, Lisa, Scott and Jay.

I remember when he was 12 he built a go-cart and used wheels he scrounged from the dump. It was called the "Red Baron" after the the snoopy plane. It was painted red with a black cross with big letters. Even then he had the nack to build things. His was by far the "best" go cart ever, according to Tim- he used to tell us. HE USED TO RIDE IT DOWN SHUSTERS DRIVEWAY AND DEPOT STREET AS THE MEMBER OF THE DOUGLAS DEPOT DEMONS.
