William "Billy" D. Balcom, Jr., 49
AUBURN - William "Billy" D. Balcom, Jr., 49, formerly of Auburn, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 17, 2012. Born in Worcester on January 31, 1963, Billy was raised in Auburn and lived many years in Burbank, California before recently moving to Shrewsbury.
Billy graduated from Bay Path Vocational Technical High School in Charlton and worked for the State of California as a welder. He enjoyed deep sea diving for lost treasures.
He leaves a daughter, Samantha Balcom of New York; his parents, William D. Balcom, Sr. and Linda (Baer) Maggiore, both of Florida; three sisters, nieces and his wife, Linda Balcom of Missouri.
A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family at High Plain Cemetery in West Boylston. Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main St., Holden is directing arrangements. To share a memory or offer a condolence, please visit:

I want to thank everyone for their thoughtful Prayers. Billy is resting now in a place with no troubles or worries. I also want to thank every one who were there , and for the flowers and many memories. I will miss him more then anyone can imagine.
