Dear Uncle B,
I will miss you greatly. Thanks for taking me on the milk runs and letting me sit in the back of the truck-way on top of the crates. Thank you for my first puppy-Misty Wing Ears-when I was 5! Thank you for teaching me about Lancaster and her history and holding me up so I could see the puppet shows at Herb Hosmer's. And most of all thank you for always being a friend to me and our family since "forever."
Love always,
Jean

I am sorry to see about Bill's passing.
We were friends when I played the pipe organ at his church, and he was very enthusiastic about pipe organs. We spoke occasionally afterwards when I visited the Horseshed Fair and again played the organ for him. His favorite hymn was "Melita" (look it up). And his Baked Beans were delicious, I never got to try his apple pie, they were gone by the time I arrived.

I am deeply saddened to learn of William's passing. Growing up on South Meadow Road, in Lancaster, "Kay" as we fondly called him, used to attend our parties and gave us rides in his car and we all felt he was our age. He was a tremendous cook and baker and I always bought his apple pie at the Horseshed Fair. He would always greet me with a smile and warm hug. I will remember him serving up his Grasshopper pie with a proud place setting at his home. My prayers are with you all.

I was so sorry to read that "Kay" recently passed. I was thinking of him recently as I was driving through my old neighborhood. Please know that my thoughts are with you all.

So sorry to hear of Bill's passing. I will always have a picture of him in his colonial outfit at Thanksgiving with the long pole. Sue Billings
