Dorothy Blount Obituary
Dorothy "Dottie" Blount, 95, of Tellico Village, died Saturday, Jan. 14, 2023.
Services were held Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2023, at Click Funeral Home in Tellico Village.
Known for her thoughtfulness and bejeweled style, Dottie was the life of every party. Her spirited demeanor kept her adventurous and always ready for life's next escapade.
She is survived by her children, Diane (Gus) Delgouffre, Tom (Linda) Blount and Jim (Pam) Blount; nine grandchildren, Darlene (Billy) Wright, Robyn (Chuck) McCrary, Clint (Meagan) Tippens, Zac (Lindsey) Blount, Cathy (C.J.) Kuntemeier, Holly (Kyle) Blair, Pam (Jedi) Knowles, Brad (Ann) Blount and Melanie (Chaz) Blount; 13 great-grandchildren, Christopher McCrary, Benjamin Tippens, Amelia, Lucas and Grant Blount, Parker and Reagan Knowles, Skylar and Miles Kuntemeier, K.J. and Scarlett Blair and Adalyn and Lucia Blount.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Thomas Blount Jr.; and daughter, Linda Mclean.
Dottie will be laid to rest at South Florida National Cemetery in West Palm Beach, Fla., alongside her husband, Henry "Hank" Thomas Blount Jr.
