Even to this day I think about those days of Bobby and the band practicing in granny's den. I still dream of those days and awake to the reality that those days are gone. I will always miss and love my cousin Bobby and our back to back birthday calls since his was the day before mine. I find myself lost on those days not being able to call him or waiting for him to call me. May God rest his rocking, Cowboys loving soul.

My son Richard Langhoff played drums with Bobby around 2007-2008 timeframe. I want to say the venue was Big Tony's? I came to Nashville to see them and took pics of the show. Son Rich passed away in June 2017. I recall Rich being greatly saddened when he came to know Bobby passed away.

Bobby was a great cousin and friend. I made my mistakes in life but Bobby told me that when I came home again, he would give me a job.
It was horrible to heart that he passed away that day and now, a decade later, I still keep wanting to pick up the phone and call him when a thought of him crosses my mind.
Never will forget laying my head down in Brian's drum and falling asleep only to awaken because the music stopped.
I'll forever miss ya cuz, and I still think of you when time comes to celebrate my birthday. Yours was the day before mine s you know and it still makes me cry.

Wow I am in shock! For some reason you popped into my head and I searched you out on Facebook....I was thrilled to have found you but noticed that you hadn't posted since 2009....My heart sunk when I googled your name. It has been a long time but I always thought of you and wondered how you were doing. I run across pictures of you and Jake when he was a baby when we lived over off Stewarts Ferry. I catch myself thinking about you and the times I met you and started hanging out with you when you were with "CIRCUS"! Man how the time has flown by...For a short while I hadnt heard from you and tried to find you on FB and one day I cams across a good friend that had you as their friend!! I remember the time I called you and we talked and that DEFINITLY brought back all the memories..aprx two weeks later I had heard the news of what happened..At least I got the chance to have talked to you once more before you were called to be in a better place! This Genius of a man was so talented & gifted & intelligent; he rocked the world around him with his songs, his music, his laughter, his sense of humor, his smile, his very presence. He had a knack for making the person he was speaking with to feel important, special, & loved.
He was dreamer. He had big dreams. He never stopped dreaming. Every time he set a goal, he jumped in feet first, knowing exactly what he wanted to do to bring his dream to life.
After a lifetime of giving & being happy & "having a great life", playing music & piercing the souls of every person he ever met; dreaming & living out his dreams, stepping out, stepping up, & reaching for the stars as no one else could & as all who encountered this marvelous man, could see...he now rests in peace, is a still piercing people's lives, & will be an icon in the Nashville music industry as no other will ever do. May his family find solace.

Bobby Lee, Everybodys friend. I always got greeted with a smile and a pat on the back. Even back in the early 80's when I would sit in with you and the band at Smilerado's. ( sp ). I am very thankful to have had the opportunity to know Bobby Lee and play music with him. He gave me a gig at Big Tony's at a time in my life when I really needed to work. Bobby was loved by many, probably because he had a huge heart, and saw the good in everyone. He was always kind and generous, and of course very talented in music. I regret that I had not seen him in several months. But I will always remember him. He made an lasting impression on me that I will never forget. Love ya Bobby Lee.

Bobby, I don't even know what to say because it doesn't seem real. We did so much together. Brian, Ken, you and I always riding around being silly. Our friendship remained through the years. You were always there for me when I needed a friend. Never did you not have time to give me advice or just listen. My son loved you, my mother loved you and you even learned sign language since you were at the house so much when we were teens. You are the first close friend I have lost and it doesn't feel very good. I wish my husband knew you because you would have approved and got along with him great. 27 years of friendship and you are gone but never forgotten. I miss you brother and love you.
