Hendersonville, TN
81, passed away December 5, 2015. She was born July 24, 1934 in Jackson, MS and is preceded in death by her husband William "Bill" Inkster; parents, Ledrew and Lucille Lancaster Amason; sister, Mary Ann Lipscomb.
A very loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she attended Mississippi College; was a member of Hendersonville First Baptist Church and Sunday School teacher for toddlers; retired after 30 plus years with Sears.
Mrs. Inkster is survived by her children; Michael Inkster, Susan (Paul) Haines, Laura (Pete) Frederick; brother, Robert Amason; grandchildren, Jessica Berrier, Olivia Inkster, Meredith Guelbert, Jacqueline Banks, Stephanie Miller, Austin & Walker Frederick; great-grandchildren, Alexzandria Orr, Christopher Banks, Hudson Guelbert, Dylan Guelbert, Molly Berrier.
Family and friends will gather to remember Mrs. Inkster at a visitation Tuesday from 12:00 until 2:00; a celebration of Life will follow at 2:00 in the chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home with Dr. Bruce Chesser officiating. The interment will be 12:30 Wednesday in Chattanooga National Cemetery. Visit www.forestlawnfuneral-goodlettsville.com

Mrs. Inkster was the most kind and beautiful soul. She was surrounded by so many loved ones, and I know that was because of the love she showed others. I am so blessed to have taken care of Mrs. Inkster and I really enjoyed talking about football and family with her :).

I loved Mrs Inkster very much. She was like a mother to me, and I will miss her greatly. She was a true Southern lady.
