Dr. Morton rushed to the hospital in the middle of the night to operate on my beloved father when the ER said there was no hope for survival. By the blessed hands of Dr. Morton my father went on to have 20 more years with the people who adored him. We all continued to pray for and include Dr Morton in prayers of glorious gratitude for the gift he was to his patients. I was thinking of him today as I often do when giving thanks and while Dr Morton and my father have both passed, I still pray for them and will be forever grateful.

He was a such man. You could tell he had a heart for all people. He was one of the few surgeons that I have met that truly listened to his patients and cared what they had to say and involved them in their own care. He never had a superior attitude of "I'm the doctor here". His kind smile said what was in his heart. May your soul Dr. Morton be resting in the presence of Jesus and our Heavenly Father right now.

I'm sorry for the loss of Dr. Chug and my prayers are with the family.
In the late 80's I was helping with the renovation of his farm house, barn, smoke house and more. I will never forget how I came in one Monday morning with a broken leg from a rodeo accident and Dr. Chug right away had me connected with a great doctor. My hat has always been off to him, I know he'll be missed by many.
