Condolences to my cousins on the loss of their mother. Aunt Christine was a joy to be around. She was a deep well of knowledge, and a woman of unshakeable faith. She is a saint in my book. My family will always hold her in their hearts.

Christine was my first boss at my first "real" job at Abingdon Press. I learned so much from her. Plus she was fun and kind and gentle. She would take our work team on outings (shades of the kindergarten days perhaps) which were a delight. I know she will be missed. My condolences to her family and friends. I for one will cherish her memory.--Jeannie

Fifty two years ago Mrs. Benagh was my Kindergarten teacher. I have wonderful memories of that year. There were lots of vanilla wafers. There were countless stories read aloud - I remember being amazed that Mrs. Benagh could read sideways - with the book held open on an art easel so that we could all see the pictures. Mrs. Benagh poured out love and her respect for children made us feel very important. She taught us how to dance the May-pole and make an excellent braid of bright colored ribbons around the pole. I will always cherish her hand written notes in her beautiful penmanship that I have saved through the years. The contents of which stays with you for a lifetime.

So great that I got to spend several afternoons with Christine over the years. She could light up any room with her wit, charm, intellect and grace.

Christine radiated Christian love and forbearance. She brought her Orthodox Christian Faith to her service on the Parish Council as we built our church by providing a steadying influence on our deliberations often with just a smile and a kind word or two. Christine will be missed. May her memory be eternal!

What fond memories we will always have of beautiful Christine. Kind & loving inside & out. She introduced me to my future husband, Jason, after The Ressurection Service, Easter, 1993. She so kindly helped me write a Non-Denomnational Invocation I had to say at the beginnning of our Rotary Club of Nashville luncheon meeting. Christine will forever be in our hearts. Our deepest condolences to The Benagh Family.
