Daniel Tidwell Obituary
Brentwood - Age 69, passed away January 6, 2019. He attended Cohn High School, class of 1967, was a graduate of UT, and served his country in the US Army. He was the former owner of the Exit/In. Flop was an All American fast-pitch softball pitcher and an avid golfer. He was the Past President of Capital City Golf Association and the co-founder of the Cohnhead Golf Tournament. Preceded in death by his parents, Loyd and Grace Tidwell; brothers, Billy Ralph Tidwell and Jerry Wayne Tidwell. Survived by his wife of 16 years, Tinka Tidwell; son, Daniel Michael Tidwell, Jr.; step-children, Amber Presley (Josh) and Heath Young (Lee); grandchildren, Izzy, Knox, Kinsey, Addy, and Ella; sister, Deb Hayes (Mike); mother-in-law, Doris Gore; brother-in-law, Dart Gore (Cindy). Visitation at Phillips-Robinson Funeral Home Saturday, Jan. 12th from 11am-3pm. Services will be conducted at Christ Church Cathedral, 900 Broadway, Nashville, TN 37203, Sunday, Jan. 13th at 2pm. There will never be another "Flop"! I never saw him upset and he always was carrying on a bunch of stuff. He was truly one of a kind! RIP Flop!
