I can't believe it's been a year since this man with the infections laughter, my Uncle Pete, left us. It still hurts my heart but I'm glad he's not suffering anymore. To Aunt Donna, his kids n grandkids-cousins I don't know...my thots & prayers are with you on this anniversary. Let's celebrate his life.

Dear Smith Fam, this is late I know but, it's still here so I'll share my thots & feelings. The year I came to visit TN, Aunt Donna had to go to CA. So, Uncle Pete & the girls entertained me. He took me to the Grand Ol' Opry & it's one of my favorite memories. We saw a one man show of Hank Williams Sr. & we had great seats.I kept thinking it was out of his comfort zone, he made me feel SO special. He was always our favorite as kids. He was single & came to take us riding on his motorcycle & taught us that ridiculous Buck Owens song on the guitar. I still remember it almost 50 years later! I LOVE Uncle Pete & I pray for you all still.

I only got to meet Lee once and it was at Ben's birthday party one year. He was hilarious and the life of the party. It seemed like he never met a stranger and he was so friendly. My prayers go out to the family during this tough time! I'm sure Lee is up in heaven making folks smile and laugh though!
