Dear Rick and all the Hite family,
I am so sorry about your Mom. I will keep all of you in my prayers. I still fondly remember our time working together at Baltz Brothers Elm Hill Meats in the summer of 1971. Again, deepest sympathy. --Dan Darst

Ms Hite was so good to me! She took a chance on me and hired me when I was 16. I asked her every week for a month if she was hiring and she finally gave in. She helped me start my work career and my life as an adult. She was always there for me. She was my mentor, my friend and my boss and she will always have a special place in my heart .

Ms. Edna was so very special to me. She was like a grandmother to me she was always in a happy mood even when she wasn't feeling well and she will always have a special place in my heart.
