Dickson, TN
Ms. Era Mae Harris, age 93 of Hickman County and Dickson County, died on Thursday, January 19, 2017 at the NHC in Hendersonville. Visitation was held on Monday, January 23, 2017 from 3pm until 7pm. A funeral service was held Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at 1pm at the Taylor Funeral Home. Place of rest is in the Wade-Peeler Cemetery in Hickman County. In lieu of flowers please make a memorial to the charity of your choice.
Era Harris was born October 14, 1923 in Hickman County. She was a daughter of the late Charlie William Harris and Elizabeth Pace Harris. She had formerly worked at Clark Container, and most recently as a greeter at Wal-Mart. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Doris Lamar Harris; brother, Clint Harris; sisters, Evelyn Morgan and Virginia Hill; grandson, David Harris.
She is survived by her Grandchildren, Michael Harris of Goodlettsville, Teresa Leonard of Nashville, and Jennifer Poe of Nashville; Brothers, Bobby Harris of Columbia, and Donald Harris of Portland; 9 Great Grandchildren; 3 Great Great Grandchildren.
