Dear Wallace & Beth,
Gail has always been such a very important part of the Clendenin/Ridgway families. Growing up, she was my cousin, role model, and best friend. I will always cherish the time last summer when we were able to reconnect. My heart and prayers go out to you and your family. Know she will be terribly missed by everyone who knew her because to know her was to love her.

I’ve known Gail for 25 years. She hired and introduced me to Vanderbilt Libraries. Even though I was her assistant for over 10 years, she was like a mother to me. I lost my mom in 2008, and when I received that phone call yesterday, I felt the pain that I lost my mom all over again….I love Gail! Gail was an excellent listener, very supportive and always willing to help anyone out when needed. I am going to “truly” miss her pretty smile, witty laughs and all the wise stories she would tell. Gail and I shared a lot of fun memories together and I will always cherish them in my heart. Wallace and Beth, I am so sorry for the sadness I know you are feeling but it’s only temporary. God bless. My prayers are with you and family.
Love you guys!
Ava~

Gail was my oldest and dearest friend, and I will miss her so much. I knew and loved her for more than 40 years, and she was always there for me when I needed her. Hopefully, she thought the same thing of me. I will always remember the good times we had.
Wallace, Beth and Dusty:
My deepest sympathy in your great loss. My love to all,
