George Peach Obituary

George E. Peach Sr.

After a long hard fought battle with cancer Mr. Peach died 11/30/2015. He had been serving as the Robertson County Highway Commissioner District 3 and 5 for several years and worked at the Robertson County highway department before then as an equipment operator. He loved hunting and fishing with his friends. For years he raised hunting dogs and traded them. He was known in the neighborhood by all the kids as the man to go to fix their bikes or they could get a part from. He enjoyed being surrounded by his children and grandchildren.

Born Oct. 3, 1937 in Franklin, Tenn., he was preceded in death by his parents, George and Gertrude Peach; a son, Timothy Peach and a daughter, Beverly Sircy Peach.

Mr. Peach is survived by his wife, Diane Peach, Greenbrier; brother, William "Willie" Peach, Springfield, Tenn.; son, George E. Peach Jr. and wife Twanna Peach, Lavergne, Tenn.; several loving nieces and nephews; grandchildren, James Peach, Justin Peach, Samantha Sircy, Gary Sircy Jr. and Coty Carr.

Following the wishes of Mr. Peach, there will be no services. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
