DIER, Jack T.Metro Fire Capt (Retired), age 77 of Dickson, died June 16, 2012. Celebration of Life on Tuesday, June 19th at 3 p.m., at the First United Methodist Church-Dickson, with Military Honors by the U.S. Army. Burial at later date in Middle TN State Veterans Cemetery. Visitation at the church from 10 a.m. until service. Jack was born February 20, 1935 in Baton Rouge, LA to Joe Blanche Dier and Mildred Broussard Dier. Served in the U.S. Army. Survived by wife, Linda Gilliam Dier of Dickson; daughters, Tracey Dier (David) Nail of Baton Rouge, LA, Dee (Scott) Hard of McMinnville, TN; brothers, Jesse and Tony Dier of Baton Rouge, LA; sisters, Bonnie Devall of Baton Rouge, LA, Anne Wilson of Shreveport, LA; four grandchildren, Ty Nelson Walters, Chase Christian Hard, Ashton Reid Disedare and Courney Che'rie Hard; and a great-grandson, Jaxson Reid Disedare.
