I am deeply saddened by the loss of Jim. Growing up together I have many stories that still bring a smile to my face when I think of Jim. We spent an entire summer together one year at Camp Rockmont in NC. My deepest condolences go out to the family.

Jim and the Cannon gang were more than customers to me. It didn't take long to become very fond of Jim and the whole family. My family became aquainted with them spoke of them often. Jim was always kind and generous to me, my employees, and my family. We have definitely lost one of the good guys.

My deepest sympathy to the Cannon Family. I worked for his Mother for a number of years in the 1980's. I knew Jim to be fun loving and full of life. He will be missed. May God bless his family.

Jim and Anna Kate grew up in my neighborhood in Gainesville, Ga. They were childhood friends of mine and my brothers. Whenever my family starts to reminisce about our youth on Valley Road, Jim and Anna Kate never fail to be mentioned. Reflecting on Jim's stunts, pranks, and sense of humor always brings laughter to the point of tears. Our thoughts and prayers are with Dr. Cannon, Anna Kate, and the children.

I knew Jim for many years from running into him around town and from when he worked for Bart Durham, he always had a smile on his face and love in his heart for his family. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.

Jim was one of the best guys around! I worked at MRA for a couple of years and moved to Georgia. I called him when I was ready to come back home and he made sure that I had a position back with the company.

The family is in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

To The Cannon Family:
I lived next door to Jim and his family for 3 1/2 years before they moved to Bowling. I enjoyed Jim and the boys company very much. Jim was a good person who always was in a great mood and was quick to lend a hand to you. We had some great laughs together. I miss Issaac and Ford and still think of them fondly. I hope Jim is at peace and did not suffer much, and I hope God gives his family strength, and with time peace. You all are in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Anna Kate and John,
Jim was a very important part of our lives for a number of years in Nashville and joined our family on several vacations. We always enjoyed spending Christmas with your mom and Jim. He was loved and respected by our whole family. God bless you both along with your children and Jim's.

My thoughts and prayers are with the entire family. I lived next door to the Cannon family on Sequayah and Jim was always so kind and really loved his children. I have fond memories of him and his new stereo set he purchased while living there. He was like a kid in a candy store. I know he will be greatly missed by everyone.

I grew up with Jim and Anna Kate and will always have fond memories of our childhood. His family was very special to me. I am truly saddened. Jim was the best at go-cart races and teasing his little sister and I.

To the Cannon Family
My thoughts and prayers are with you. Jim and I worked together at Bart Durham's office many years ago. He was the funniest man I have ever met. He was fun to be around and a great lawyer. He will be missed by many, many people.
