Nashville, TN
Died Thursday, May 21, 2015 of Nashville at age 54.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Delores C. Roland; son, James C. Roland; brothers, Michael D. Roland; Frank E. Roland; and sister, Marilyn D. Howard.
She is survived by daughters, Rico L. Roland, Keirra Roland, Shakeera Peebles, Jamesha Peebles; son, Shakeer Peebles; longtime companion, Thomas Williams; siblings, Samuel Shelton, Ill (Rita), Ernest Shelton (Judy), Brenda Shelton, Ricky Motley (Pamela); five grandchildren; devoted cousin, Teresa Edwards; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Viewing Thursday, May 28 from 12-6 p.m. at Johnson's House of Atena. Visitation will be Friday, May 29, from 11-12 Noon immediately followed by A Celebration of Life at Stoker's Lane Church of God, 3101 Stokers Ln.

Family, nothing pleases God more than the death of one of his saint's. Janet is now in any more sickness, sorrow, or pain. She is safe in the arms of Jesus, and the joy of it all is knowing that one day we will see her as well as all of our love ones, again. When we enter the 12 gates of the city, walk the golden streets and sit at his feet and be blessed. Hold on to God's unchanging hand, he will comfort you. I love you

Nothing pleases God more than the death of one of his Angel's. Family hold on to God's unchanging hand. Janet is alright now no more sickness sorrow or pain. She is resting safe in the arms of Jesus. We must trust and believe that one day we will see her again along with all of our loved one's we will enter the 12 gates of the city and walk the golden streets as we sit at His feet and be blessed.
