I was searching for Jason online this evening as I haven't seen him since we taught at the same school in Shenzhen in 1999. This saddens me greatly. He was a wonderful person, a great friend and an extremely talented poet and artist. I was hoping to get in touch with him to see how he had been over the years. I regret not getting to say goodbye, but am comforted in the fact that he found love in his wife and son before leaving this world. Jason, you will be truly missed. I love you bro.

Having lost my husband to pancreatic cancer one year ago tomorrow, I know the sadness and loss you feel at this time. May your family and friends help you remember all the wonderful things this young man represented--most of all how much he loved you and wanted to share his life with you. He is now in the community of angels with my husband, Jim. When I see a rainbow, I know our wonderful angels are giving us reason to smile and be happy remembering the good times we shared. My best wishes to you!

One doesn't often meet someone as kind, funny, and patient as Jason. His love and gratitude for life, for Letty and Matthew, and his family were unwavering. He was a pleasure to work with and a good friend. We all miss him so much, but know he is in a better place. Jason will never be forgotten.
