Jessie Arnold-Allen Obituary

Jessie Ruth Arnold-Allen

Jessie Ruth Arnold-Allen, 91, born June 28, 1929, Mount Pleasant, Tennessee, passed from this life for her heavenly home on August 30, 2020 at home in Pleasant View, Tennessee with family by her side.

Mrs. Allen, known by many as Nan, leaves a legacy of faith, hope and love. Her life was dedicated to being a wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend but above all she was a steward of God, a prayer warrior, volunteering at nursing homes, caring for the sick, opening her home for worship, bible studies and prayer gatherings. Prior to her health declining she attended Faith Community Church of the Nazarene on Ed Harris Road in Ashland City, Tennessee.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Robert Owen Allen; parents Everett and Ida Mae Arnold; sister Lorene Renfro.

She leaves behind her son Dennis (Valeri) Allen, daughter Kathy (Ricky) Knox; grandchildren Robert (Tonya) Steele, Brandy (Jon) Webb, Danielle (Kelsey) Bell, Caleb (Chelsea) Allen; great grandchildren Bobby, Jessica and Carly Steele, Karlyn Webb, Avery and Judah Bell, Denver and Charlee Ruth Allen; Great Great Grandchild Nataliegh Steele.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 26, 2020 at Mallory's Cemetery in Chapmansboro, Tennessee. Chaplain Dennis Allen, her son, will be officiating the service.

May each person blessed by her life continue sharing the legacy of faith and love by reminding all who cross our paths, as she did so many, "Jesus loves them" and to always "Pray Much."

Special; valuable; precious is His saints in the sight of God. Friend; prayer warrior; encourager; Ruth is now home with the one she knew and loved so dear: Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Family and friends rejoice; we will meet her in Heaven soon and very soon. Jesus Christ is coming ! Dennis and Kathy; you are a living testament of the lady you called mother; a witness to all who knew how you honored God
and your mother in advanced age; a witness to all who follow. My
thoughts and prayers are with you. Your sister in Jesus, Gale Morton
