Joel BOWERS Obituary

BOWERS, Joel RayAge 59, passed away at his home on February 5, 2013 in Lebanon, TN. Joel was born and raised in Donelson, TN, where he graduated from McGavock High school in 1972. He was retired from American Airlines since 2008. He also owned and operated Joel Bowers Septic Pumping in Lebanon. Joel was survived by his two children, Courtney Paige and Joshua Trey; mother, Jon Rhea Bowers; brothers, Randy Bowers (Alma), Mike Bowers; sister, Janice Lavendar (Hardy) and Glynda Bowers, all of Kingston Springs, Jeannie Gayle Hodges (Jimmy) of Smyrna, TN; 8 nieces and nephews, and 9 great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Hubert "Dee" Bowers. Honorary Pallbearers are: Gary Henley, Terry Jackson, Brian Gibson, Greg Gibson, Shayne Lavendar, Blake Bowers, Billy Birdwell, J. W. Hunt, Dale DeMoss. Visitation 12 - 2 p.m., with Memorial Service at 2 p.m., followed by A Celebration of Life February 17th in the Community Center at Burns Park, Kingston Springs, TN. NASHVILLE FUNERAL AND CREMATION SERVICE, (615) 256-1605.
