I just learned of John's passing and I am saddened to know that John is no longer with us. I could always call John when I needed help with a claim or with a coverage question. I was looking forward to seeing him again at Southern Agents Conference this year. I will always remember and appreciate the help John has given me through the years and the stories he told about his family that grew up in Kentucky.

I was sorry to hear of John's passing. I attended many of his classes here in Indiana. He was a great "go-to" source of information and assisted me, several times, with opinions on claims and coverage situations. We had lunch together and talked about our mutual interest in old cars. He made a boring topic class always interesting.

I was sorry to hear of John's passing. He was a mentor to me and showed me more interesting ways to present what many see as a dry topic for learning. He will be missed by many in our industry.

John was a fraternity brother in Phi Kappa Sigma and "pledge grandfather" at Illinois Institute of Technology. I have many fond memories of John, least of all attending his Wedding in Nashville. The last time I visited him was prior to leaving for Vietnam, many years ago. John will be in my prayers.

Thank you for being my mentor and friend. Who knew that when you met my grandfather all those years ago you would wind up mentoring his granddaughter. There are no words to express my love and gratitude.

John's passing came as sudden and sad news. He was a fantastic leader, teacher, excellent boss, and a faithful friend. He was a charismatic mentor to me and to many others in our industry. John was the type of person who seemed to always be just a phone call away...be there to help anyone. Dia and I send our deepest sympathy and prayers to Barbara and family.
