Heaven gained Kelley Steven Frost, 35, of Hendersonville who passed away from this life on October 22, 2016 from injuries sustained in a car crash. Kelley was born September 26, 1981 in Hendersonville, TN. Kelley fiercely loved his wife and children. He was a dedicated father and husband. He was active in his church and volunteered regularly with the Long Hollow Baptist Church student ministry. He was a beloved coach in youth soccer and football programs. He was an avid NASCAR fan and could often be found bass fishing. Kelley's personality was larger than life and spending time with him often resulted in the aches that come with too many belly laughs.
He is survived by his precious wife Laura and their three children Taylor (12), Jocelyn (8), and Evie Kate (6). He is also survived by his father, Steve Frost and his wife Shannon, his mother Mylinda Frost, his brother David Frost and his wife Heather, brother Brian Frost, and sister Erin Frost. Kelley is also survived by grandparents George and Mattie Sue Frost, Joanne Kelley, and John and Frankie Kelley.
The family will receive friends at Long Hollow Baptist Church on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 from 4-8 p.m. and Thursday October 27, 2016 from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. A funeral service will be held at the church at 12:00 Noon. Burial will follow in Beech Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery, 3216 Long Hollow Pike, Hendersonville, TN 37075 with David Frost, Brian Frost, Thomas Austin, Travis Jarrett, Justin Goodrich and Matt Holder serving as active pallbearers.

We knew Kelley as "Coach Frost" as he coached my daughter's soccer teams. He had the ability to not only identify poor skills, but provide correction too. I wish we could have gotten to know him better outside of sports before he was gone. Regardless, he made a positive impact on us and our daughter. Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife, three children, and parents. God's peace be with you.

I've known Steve and Brian for a very long time and while I had not gotten the privalege of meeting Kelley my heart grieves for your family. These are hard times especially for the children but know this, and these are God's word, "Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me.
