Hendersonville, TN
Kelly Ann Bracey, age 59 of Hendersonville, passed away Thursday, May 28, 2015.
She was born May 22, 1956 in Okinawa, Japan, to the late Edward W. and Susie Bracey.
Kelly was a beautiful lady with a heart of gold who loved people and animals. She was a member of Bluegrass Baptist Church in Hendersonville. She is remembered by her family as a sweet, kind and caring person who loved giving flowers to her friends and rescued many animals.
Kelly is survived by her husband of 34 years, Michael Shavers; brother, William Bracey; nephew, Randy (Lindsay) Henderson; great-niece, Issabella; special buddy, Princess; and many friends and neighbors.
Visitation will be held from 4 - 8 p.m. Sunday, May 31, 2015 at Spring Hill Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 2, 2015 from the chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home with Reverend Tom Shavers officiating. Interment will follow in the Peaceful Valley section of the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Dakota and Casey Rescues, 114 Deer Ridge Lane, Hendersonville, TN 37075.

What can I say about Kelly Bracey. She has been my Best friend for over 40 years. We have laughed together and cried together.With her strength she gave me courage. I never seen her sad. with all her sickness she still trucked on with a big smile on her face. I will truly miss her. I love you kelly
