Funeral services were conducted Friday August 19, 2016 at 2 PM from the Chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home with Bro. Paul Picard officiating. Place of rest was in the Adams Family Cemetery.

Mr. Lewis Dean Smith, age 71 of Dickson died Tuesday August 16, 2016. Born in Nashville, TN he was the son of the late Joseph Lewis and Clarice Pendergrass Smith and was preceded in death by his wife, Bessie "Ramona" Knight Smith. He retired from Ford Glass where he worked as a Furnace Operator. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of the Pond Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include his son, Dean Smith (Kim) of Nashville; daughter, Sabrina Hooper (Larry) of Central City, KY; brothers, Romuald Smith of San Antonio, TX, Joe Smith & Paul Smith both of Dickson, Michael Smith of Nashville; sisters, Norma Drake & Connie Schmutz both of Nashville, 8 grandchildren, Amy, James, Jordan, Kaitlyn, Kristyn, Maridith, Cassie, Robert Lewis; several nieces and nephews.
