Marguerite Chapman Obituary
Nashville - Age 79 passed away October 31, 2020. Born in Nashville, Tennessee she was a retired Special Education Teacher of Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools. She graduated from Pearl High School '59 and Tennessee State University. She was a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority and the Red Hat Ladies Society. Marguerite is survived by daughter Terri Denise Chapman, son Mark Edward Chapman (Candria) grandchildren Natasha Buckingham (Duran), Samiyah Chapman, Derrick Chapman, Dominique Chapman, Bryant Chapman. Sisters, Jacqueline Williams (Raymond), Mary Patricia Freeman, Nephews Micah Freeman (Kim), Chad Williams, Todd Gregory, Nieces Joy Penson, Margo Hubbard, (David) Tonya Gregory, Simone Gregory, great grandchildren and cousins. Visitation with family and friends will be held on Sunday November 8, 2020 from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM prior to the Celebration of Life at Born Again Church, 858 West Trinity Lane. In lieu of flowers and gifts, we welcome donations to Fashioned In His Image Total Women's Center Inc. c/o Born Again Church in Marguerite's memory. Terrell Broady Funeral Home

Ms. Marquerite was as beautiful inside as she was outside. I met her at the mailboxes were she worked with her son, Mark. We had many conversations and I feel in love with her immediately. I am so sorrow for the families loss, but I am sure she smiling in heaven looking down on all of us. I was so lucky to have met this very special lady.

Marguerite was a true soldier for God and was loved by so many. She will surely be missed. She loved children and children loved her. I believe she is resting in God’s arms right now. I loved you, Rest In Peace sweet lady.
